2004 s60 2.5t split turbo pipe?

Hi guys, during a recent cold snap my s60 started to wine/fact/whistle on idle and now dumps waste turbo air to atmosphere instead of recirculating it. It doesn't seem to cause any issues apart from a slightly rough idle when cold. What I wanted to know was has anyone come across this before? Can anyone point me in the right direction of what I could need to fix it. I work 6 nights a week so I need everything ready to go on my night off so the cars not off the road and Google isn't being helpful so far.
