Volvo 850R Auto..Just to bring everyone upto speed..LAMBDA ON ALL THE TIME

So, I checked to vacuum pipes and re connected them and I changed the plugs and the distributor and leeads and I cleaned the MAF and I changed the Lambda and...IT all works absolutely fine..I think it was the plugs to be honest.
But...the lambda is now on permanently I have unplugged the battery overnight I have changed the Lambda but as soon as you switch on the ignition the lambda comes on and resolutely refuses to go out.
As I say the car works beautifully now ticks over no hunting turbo goes all the way round the dial
    Any ideas...?

that "lambda" light isn't just for the lambda sensor. It is equivalent of an engine management light and will illuminate when there is a fault code stored from any of the vehicles sensors. You need to get the codes read properly and then you will see why it is on all the time.
