Hi, my 2002 Volvo V70 D5 auto, which I've owned from new, started to play up by occasionally stalling in traffic, but usually restarted, until the problem became more frequent. It went into limp mode a couple of times, which was solved by stopping and restarting. However, it is now in permanent limp mode at 5 mph. The local garage won't tow an automatic car, so I am stuck. I have replaced the air sensor and put on a new battery today. I can go anywhere I want at 5 mph. A local mobile garage company connected their OBD and stated 'a low fuel pressure' reading, which they said could be anything on the fuel line from tank pump, line splits or filter problems, so wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. I love my Volvo, which goes back and fore to the Alps, has full sets of summer and snow tyres and although the Comms GPS doesn't read dvd discs anymore, she is a great friend, but as I'm now retired money is scarce.
Any advice would be appreciated.........
