    850 speakers query

Question regards speakers in a wagon.
I know all the sizes my problem is the wiring
    I have tweets in dash
    Mids in front doors
Rear doors shan't be an issue as will be replaced with coaxial set my problem is will I need to put the crossover from my new set in or as they are essentially component speakers in the car just use original wiring?

From memory Goeff, the dash tweeters have a built in crossover attatched.

If you wanted ti use new tweeters you'd need new crossovers, otherwise you should be fine

Wondering if I could just do away with tweeters and just get coaxial in front doors as well as back doors?

My 850 came like that and it sounds fine.

If it were me, I'd use a decent component mid in the front doors, standard tweeters in the dash and coaxials in the rear doors as you suggest.

The dash tweeters add to the sound more than you'd give them credit for, I'd think you'd miss them when they're gone. It would probably sound a bit flat.
They also direct some sound toward your ears, rather than your chest.
