    And the third fault - it won't start........

    So yesterday I noticed that the d5 was becoming more difficult to start.

    This morning it won't start.

    No faults etc just cranks and nothing


    Help !!!!

    If you give it a squirt of 'Easy start' in air intake, does it fire up immediately?

    If so, it's more likely the EGR valve gumming up. It could also be the Throttle butterfly gummed up. Unlikely to be injectors as it would run at all.

    Throttle assy is an easy fix and definitely worth cleaning. EGR more difficult.

    Do you have access to VIDA?
