Deans best was 13.4... consistently throughout the day. Neal a 14.3 I think, most were mid 14's and an impressive 16 from a standard 850 tdi!

    Fixed that

    The S70 also ran a 15 dead.
Almost as dead as my mate Colin all day after the 4:30am finish last night

Really pleased with both. Never expected the derv to pull anything like that. Was a good launch though if I do say so myself.

Really good night last night too, hopefully gave Jim and Paula a good send off

I didnt take many pictures but there were some of those common yellow saloons that are apparently rare...

A view from the outkasts area, ie me and smithy as the five cylinder petrol boys lined up

i imagine you did all give them a good send off and well deserved it is too. Both James and Paula have been great company every time I've met them. They will both be missed at these gatherings I'm sure.

16 is good for a standard derv 850, and I know mine can be pretty competitive against the t5 times after a few private tests revealed times quicker than I thought possible. We will have to see next year.

    Lol
He was a right tool, that fella!

Yeah, Col spent the day sleeping it off.
Every time I came around from a run, I could see his feet sticking out of the 850's boot.
Then I dragged him out so we could swap cars half way through
