Can I fit electric front seat to 2002 S60

As the title says my S60 has a black cloth interior and manual driver seat.

Rnash2002 has an interior for sale with an electric from seat.

I had a look under my seat and there are quite a few electrical connections, that don't appear to be doing much.

would it just be plug and play?

Pretty much, yes.

ALL Volvo models post 1996, I believe, are pre wired for electric seats. The cars are fitted with the same wiring harness at build and electric seats are an optional extra, so the customer can specify. Rather than building two harnesses, Volvo, as well as other manufacturers, just make one harness that fits all. It keep manufacturing costs down, that's why they do it. if you have access to VIDA, it will show you which plug is for what.

They fit, but do they not require dealer software to activate them?

I know the wiring harness changed on face-lift models post 05

Make sure you get them from a car around the same age and you should be good to go mate

, I've just put full electric leathers in mine. All good

, also make sure you check fuses are in situe and disconnect the battery for a few hours before attempting too fit. Else you throw a airbag light or worse set them off.
