Some great advice, though some of it I'd frown apon

If you want my advice, do absolutely NOTHING to the car for 3 months, other than a stage '0'.

Learn how it feels and drives for at least 3 months before you start to do anything. Otherwise, you'll not really know if any performance mods make any difference, because you've not had the car long enough.
Learn to live with the car and accept it's Pro's and Con's....then you'll be in a better place to make proper informed decisions on what YOU want to mod.

Top Tips: Make a note of ALL faults and niggles, that way, you won't forget. It helps to be a little anal with servicing and never scrimp or use cheap parts. Avoid pattern parts in nearly all cases. They will only come back and bite you on the bum later.

Also, don't waste your money on a cheap code reader. They are vague and often don't communicate with the car and they certainly won't read anything other than the ECM.

Buy VIDA/DICE and a WINXP laptop. Learn how to use it as it will save you a fortune in trips to the dealer.

Try to have your first service done at the dealer as this will get ALL the cars software updated for FREE!
