A Northerner comes South to Plymouth on Wednesday morning, stopping in Buckfastleigh Tuesday night. Anyone around for a mini-meet?

I'm travelling over from Bournemouth on the Tuesday with various customer visits on the way. Finishing in Torquay so I should be in Buckfastleigh for 5-5.30pm.

OK, my car is washed for the trip but not sure what state she'll be in by Tue evening. As long as it's not too far for me then either will be OK as I don't want to be driving too far after the trip down. Have you got some details about the Gallows Gate place please?

If nobody had replied to this thread, then I coming down in my Alfa but that would be rude to turn up to a Volvo meet in that. Could have also used my C70 T5, but need the space of the V70 for this trip, and the V70 needs using.

To be honest where you are staying is a good place to have a mini meet , should be enough room in the carpark.

OK, so just over 340 miles from Home via Telford, Worcester, Stroud and Bristol and now I'm just west of Bournemouth. Brimmed her this morning and tonight, and averaged over 31mpg and not driving steady all of the time.............

And pays me 45p/mile for doing so, for the first 10,000 miles before that drops to 25p/miles for the rest. Got about 4,500 miles more to do at the higher rate.
