V70 calliper spring

On the v70 1997 does the front spring for the calliper sit touching along the outside of the pad or does it fit behind the two outer lugs as it seems it won't go behind at all. I am experiencing a double pump on my breaks to work properly.

Hi, A double pump on the brakes to work when driving can be a partially seized piston binding then releasing.
