Yes its always the toss up in my mind of £50 for a set of used ones, £15-20 for a new pattern part, or £45 for a new bosch one. Probable should stock up on used ones and keep a few tools handy in the car.

Well i finally got my coil. And the second one they sent out because it had essentially gone missing.
Runs sweet and i have a spare.
Boost is hitting 10 psi with a controller. But still hesitates if flooring. Its like a fuel cut type of hesitation

I have also had a few times now p0014 camshaft sensor. Could it be this giving me these symptoms?

The problem is, with it being a ME7, it monitors everything closely, so if it detects boost where it shouldn't have boost, or boost that is too high for a given throttle position rpm etc, it'll just rein it in. MRP would be the man to speak to, as I believe he ran his ME7 with a bleed valve successfully for quite some time.

AAAhh god damn it, why does it have to be me7. Fun ruining ecu.
I have followed his steps so far. I think ill just put it all back to normal and see what effects it has. No more turbo chatter

Box delete pipes cut (after the second attempt)

    And welded together.

Now I need to take the exhaust off again and weld in place to have the rear exit back in place.
Hangers will be welded once its in place.

The side exit is getting better with every bump it hits. Making it flatter and flatter haha.

I have also put the original pipework back in for the dump valve, carbon canister/breather and taken the boost controller out of the loop and guess what, it works fine now, no hesitation when driving or boosting. Im putting it down to the boost controller not being in. I already miss chatter though, It really doesnt sit right with me. I will be taking the dump valve out of the equation again along with the canister pipework but leave the boost alone. I guess it really is a case of remap or nothing.
So will be on the lookout for a 19t and some injectors soon.

    Hmm, possibly.
I will get the boost controller back in and see what it is standard, as i think i multi tinkered last time and put it all in at once.

I never bothered with the 19T because it already had one on it.

That bay looks nice and clean.
I dont want a recirc or an atmos dump valve atall though. Id like straight boost with no interruptions.

That will put a lot of backwash into your compressor during gear changes, which is not a good idea.

It'll be ok, Ive had dump valveless turbos for years, never seen a problem. The only issues i come across is the lack of air input after the maf, cars tend to throw a wobbly without that going through.

Bent the exhaust forward coming off a kerb and then my car got hit

    Eventful Saturday afternoon.
Was left a nice polite note admitting full responsibility, insurance had already been called, should be sorted soon. Not even angry really.
But just incase insurance tries to write it off, does anyone have a saffron wing and indicator ready to go?

Fresh MOT on the zed after 2 front tyres

Got my volvo back and sourced a pair of wings and doors (doors being replaced because of corrosion at the bottom)

Down for an MOT for which it only failed on emissions as the exhaust I had made got bent and had a massive split in it.
Welded up a rear exit and passed no problem.

Then got told off because my straight through was 'too loud'

So welded the box back in.

My dad enjoying the smooth quiet drive.

Next up is fitting the doors and wing and then off for a remap, eventually.

Cheers, yes it was nice. It seemed like it had happened to here alot though. Her husband came out to say, yeah sorry, we've already called insurance.

Also I got my radio code from the guy on volvo forums, so well happy
