    Thanks for the input guys.

I was moreso going to put a straight through exhaust on removing the cat altogether, back on for MOT time.
    Would your maps accommodate this.
And at a later point a large turbo and large injectors, if the budget stretches (and if i can be bothered) new internals aswell.

Most maps will cope with changes to some degree or another.
My map was put on before I did the downpipe, injectors or turbo. It took a short time to adapt but it did adapt well with boost and afr remaining steady and healthy.
I'm sure with a map tweak, it'll go from the figures below in my signature to something closer to 340bhp but with 223k on the engine, I don't want to push my luck.

Surely these are to good to be true. I know theres 4 of them in the listing but i can buy a single for 7.50 aswell.
If i got these in, and a larger turbo on. What would the effects be on the ECU, would it be able to adjust to a point or will it just flood and not work?

Oh they are, but they're cheap enough to keep buying at that price.

You may need a new engine if the knockoff injectors fail or don't flow to what they are rated. VXR injectors are dirt cheap nowadays and will flow more than enough, a far better option IMO. I'm not sure you will need to uprate the injectors at all until you get to beyond 300bhp.
    Grey 855R Manual. Totally standard.

I intend to go beyond 300. I have a 19t in mind, with a straight through 2.5/3" exhaust, then a map aiming for more like 340-350 with about 1 bar boost.
Also conrods are on the list.
Brand new vxr injectors are not cheap enough for me to consider, especially seeing as there are 5 needed.
These cheap ones still have to meet a standard surely. I know the worry is when im peaking the power that they will just stop, but is that not only going to result in a misfire and ultimately no damage.

I'm running just over a bar of boost.

2nd hand green injectors can be had for under 90 quid usually and you'll know they're genuine too. Best to play it safe imo.

Don't forget, the C70s have the big brakes, so not all 16" wheels will fit...

16" wheels fit over 305mm p2 brakes so I doubt there'd be any trouble with 302mm p1 brakes with their tiny calipers

I have just done the front brakes and as the discs came off, yep I had 302's, in the interest of having new brakes i put the new 280's on, I doubt very much ill miss the 20mm braking, feel a bit cheated though

So, you want to up your power to over 300 bhp, and to compensate for this, you've fitted smaller brakes? If anything, you need to go bigger. Speaking from experience, the 302mm are only just up to the job on a standard car, JT has a video of me at Silverstone, with smoke billowing from the brakes, braking for Becketts. I've now fitted better pads ( Ferodo DS2500) and there is still quite a bit of fade, and I've got less than 300 bhp (hopefully not much). My Mazda RX8 comes with 323mm as standard, and that's on a lighter car, the difference is night and day. Honestly mate, brakes are the last thing you want to be scrimping on.

Well I am considering taking them back off and getting my money back as the brakes I took off werent as bad as I thought. And to top it off they gave me a smaller size.
But in all honesty, the cars not being tracked, if it locks up the wheels it locks up the wheels.
Just depends whether ive got it in me to take them off again now haha.
Ive still got the rears to do. I wonder if theyre wrong aswell.

It's not a case off locking them up, ABS would stop that anyway, as would the fact you may not get enough pressure into the 280mm discs for it to even try to lock up, the problem is brake fade. The smaller discs warm up quicker, if you need to stop a couple of times quickly on the motorway from high speed, you may find yourself running out of brakes altogether.
Don't worry about the rears, they're all the same size, and only do about 15% of the braking.
