Anybody fitted a multimedia system in their s60/v70

As above any pics to give me an idea, what sort of facia adaptors have you got the ones on eBay aren't great looking, and I'd like to keep the small cubby hole to the left. Cheers guys

Do you mean a double DIN headunit with built in screen or back of seat headrests? Or even drop down screen from ceiling?

If its just a head unit you can get adaptors. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_fr...ascia&_sacat=0

I put a PC in mine a few years back. These days I'd stick a cheap tablet in.
I bought an old stock head unit, took the face and mounting bits off, glued them together andcut out the screen hole, then fibreglassed over it for strength and shape. Matching the color was hard but I managed a reasonable job.

Getting the audio out is more fun. You will need to find an adaptor if you want the steering wheel controls to work Good luck with that!
I never had much joy with the aerial adaptor too but that might be me.

I have a pin out diagram for the head unit connector blocks if you need

Hello baj and thanks for the advice and tips yes mate a double din touch screen with sat nav etc whilst doing my best not to make it look awful lol, the facia surrounds on ebay are spot on but I've seen some also where you can keep the phone, cofee cup holder or in my case the cubby hole. Adaptor for the ariel and steering controls are easy enough to get no issue there it was just the facia that I wanted to know about and obviously I want it to look good and not a mess
