2001 c70 t5 brake master cyl ?

please excuse my ignorance before we go any further...lol

i bought my c70t5 last week with a known master cyl lssue
so ive started stripping it and bought a new seal kit
the internals look ok with no corrosion etc
but i can figure out how to get the inner part of the assembly out is there a technique or tool required to remove it ?
