Has anyone experienced a D5, 9yrs old, 96k, engine cutting out without any warning? Any ideas as to what might cause it. Mine has done it twice, about two months apart, the car glided to a stop, safely thank goodness, and then refused to start until it had been left to rest for 30 mins. It then started normally and ran OK, no warning lights everything seemingly working OK. After the first occasion my garage said they could find nothing wrong and I don't want to take it to another garage without some information.
