    Handbrake cable!!!

Hey guys, without the use of a Haynes, im not sure if this job is a bit of a bugger or not?

But yes, the handbrake cables went PING! I have a replacement from our friends at GSF, so the big question is, how does one fit this?

If its too mental of a job, is it best to let a pro at it?

    Cheers,

    Scotty

Impossible to answer as we don't know your capabilities!
    Only you can answer that.

If you've never done handbrake cables before of even touched rear brakes, then I'd advise you leave it to an expert. Safety first ....and all that.

You really need the car in the air to make it easy for yourself, otherwise your laying on your back alot. Both rear brake assemblies will need stripping out and part of the transmission tunnel inside the car, may need removal to access adjustments.

we need more clues though (I hate guessing )....What car is it?

My haynes says you need to disconnect exhaust under car to get it out the way, remove heat shield to get at the cables.
