Not a performance mod, but I was constantly getting it in the ear from my fiance, because she was constantly getting it in the ear from the straight through exhaust.

She bloody hates it, but I bloody love it (granted though, on long journies the drone did begin to grate a bit.)

So I robbed a pile of the foam and sound proofing from my old V70, cut it to shape and then used a can of adhesive spray to stick it to the boot floor. I also put some foam down between the floor and the back of the seats.

The difference it makes is crazy! Once again, I can hear all the other creaks, rattles and bangs that the straight through used to drown out. Joy Overall the driving experience is much more pleasant now.
