    Alloy wheel repairs

I recently bough a lovely set of CANISTO alloys for the V70 to match my C70 - on the understanding that one had been curbed and the rim broken on the bead

It is only a small dink but enough to unbalance the wheel and prevent inflation.

Can anyone recommend a welding/repair/ refurbishment firm anywhere near Reading/ Berks please??

    thanks

You could try Top Gear motorsports in Basingstoke, they repair alloys, but I've never used them, so don't know what they're like .

Theres a place I used thats next door to Camberley Auto Factors in Farnborough. Its a franchise but run by a very friendly couple. He took the large pothole dent out of mine for £60

    I highly recommend these guys....http://www.lepsons.com/swindon-branch/

I had my summers refurbished and painted by the Gillingham branch and their service is exceptional! Generally a 3 day turnaround via pre booking. Your car is secure inside a heated and tiled floor workshop that is separate to the refurbishment building.

Flawless workmanship and very professional outfit that will also collect and return your wheels if you want!

    Lepsons are very good.

I use a fabricator friend for small repair and local powder Coaters who, dip, blast, and powder coat for a silly price and will even do small repairs.

    Located in Portsmouth.

They just did my 740/940 spare wheels
