gave the interior another quick clean up before i start to take it apart for the main part of the bodywork stage. got a rare late model GT badge for some badging ideas in the post, we also fitted its new face. the bonnet underside already painted by john hughes again was fitted turning it into a coffin nose. one step closer to the 260 look i want.

got a early M46 OD knob for the correct period style and stripped the interior out. usual rust in places. floors slightly crusty but overall really good inside for a 82 240 got my early rear corners to weld in to create a early rear end too from max who i thank hugely for selling them.

got my roof rack from ebay that was a nice find as they were never sold in england weirdly but this 240 did have one. its good condition bar some minor pitting to the rack feet but will be sorted out, pushed the car out into the sun to show off the new red paint and started to pull the front apart for the early front end conversion.
