    Hi Everyone




    Options / price for aftermarket engine management AUTOMATIC T5???

    Is there any options (thinking Auto ECU compatibility etc)

    It depends what you need to run with it. What year ect is it?

    I got an adaptronic kit & loom made up for about 700 quid for a different car but that said why not use a 'known' map on the standard ecu - on my T5 auto (m4.4) I had a TME map that worked fine although the only mods to it was the exhaust

    You should be able to use a Motec but as pointed out its a waste of time and money, you already have a far better system on the car. The cost and time to transport the car is far less than messing around with something that WILL be a pain. If transporting the car is too much you would be far better off learning about your engine and mapping the the ECU you have.

    I remember talking to you and your mechanic at length.
