I personally used some spherical shifter bushing kit designed by CRW garage for MR2 : http://www.mr2.com/forums/threads/88...er-bushing-kit

It's different stuff but size may be the same. Then this was quite tight though, but it didnt matter as mines were made to move on their center.

It is also possible to use proper bearing in the cable ends as Claymore has on his 850 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007097597...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT will just depend on the size of the cable ends on your model

these where my custom made ones, but tbh it's a lot of faff as the one's Colin's used are dirty cheap and off the shelf, but I do like to make stuff for my car.

Mine are also identical to those pictured by Mole, they do make a nice difference to the directness of the gear change

I did the same on my Rev 3 MR2 Turbo, but with the ebay kit linked, similar affect.

You can't see very well here, but I use four bearings per gearbox, two with a flange and two without.
