V70R 4c like for like replacement

I know this is already a highly debated subject but as I'm looking to buy a V70R at some point this year , I'm trying to justify the usual maintenance issues and running cost that come with it. Do you guys know a preferred supplier that provides us with a discount on the Monroe oem 4c complete suspension units?

    Cheers

    Cam

I'm pretty sure they can be had for about half that, Monroe sold via Amazon I think.

Thanks lads. Seems like they wouldn't be that difficult to fit myself and would just go to Volvomax in Glasgow to get he software installed and set up. Thanks for the info.

They might be a bargain but what happens if there is a problem (electrical) with them before the warranty is out.
I had that problem but the factors that I deal with ordered in a replacement set before the ones on the car were removed .
I'll bet they'll need them back to check for any problems before they will issue replacements.
There was a long period that nobody had them in stock .

fair comment but the price difference makes it tempting - 378 quid vs 145 & you are supposed to do them in pairs AFAIK. Assuming they are the real items that is!!

Shock absorbers are alway done in pairs, regardless of the car.
Any garage that doesn't should be strongly avoided. You wouldn't change only one brake disc....

Think yourself lucky it's not a 2010> RS6 as they are almost £2000 a corner at Audi!

I had a walk around an 'approved used' C5 RS6 once in an Audi dealership, ran away when I saw the ceramic discs....

Careful as iirc V70R rears are different. Not sure my Volvo R knowledge is fading fast!
