    Hybrid Turbo

Someone is selling a K24 Turbo on ebay and the seller possibly thinks it's a hybrid turbo.

Is there a way to know if it is a hybrid turbo?

In a way, No. There isn't.
From the photo's, it looks like a stock KKK with a Forge CBV and Forge wastegate actuator. Technically, that does make it a hybrid, though physically, if none of the internals have changed, then it's really just a stock KKK with some bolt ons!

I wouldn't pay £800 for it mate. I'd take my £800 and walk into a Dealer and buy a brand new KKK for less!

As previously posted if your need is for a standard replacement then get one from a dealer or try BTN Turbo.

If you are looking for a reworked standard turbo then don't think twice about going to Owen Developments either with your existing one or a brand new one.

I thought the same as it doesn't look like the compressor wheel has been changed just has forged bolt ons. I wouldn't pay £800 for it can get a much bigger turbo for that price.

You do t really want bigger either. That will only mean more lag.
