My automatic gearbox might be on its last legs...

I may be over reacting here but for the last month or so my auto box has been behaving strangely.

It doesn't change up when it should be, holds on to gears a little too long and when it does change its a very clunky/jerky transition.

It also feels like it's not getting the power down as well as before and also is revisiting at higher revs, for lack of a better word.

I don't know if it's had a fluid replacement in its lifetime, which can't help matters.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Flush the box and go from there. You'll probably find new fluid will sort it.

It did make a sort of humming noise at low revs when cold but thats gone away.

I've got the ipd flush kit so I'll get that done and see what happens
