    S60R Steering solenoid

    Mines on its way out, does anyone know what part number/ name i am looking for? Or a link to where i can buy one from in the uk? Internet search shows plenty of people talking about them but nothing concrete as to where and what to buy

    You could just go to Volvo for it No 30741754 this is the repair kit .it's around £55 for the kit.

    I don't think he means THAT solenoid Harvey....that's on the rack.

    If your symptoms are intermittent HARD steering, then you need to replace the servotronic relay and it lives under the drivers side footwell above the brake pedal. Fairly easy to replace but you need to be a contortionist.

    I replaced mine a few years ago.....difference was incredible and instant!

    This is the relay - Amp I think the part number has been changed now. It's not as cheap as you think it will be



    Also this is the valve .on the rack which the relay - Amp controls .
