Successful engine swop, the best one!

While back I blew up the dreaded B4204t5 engine which imo is absolute ££££e, so I thought I'd put a b4194t2 in it as I have had these engines to the almost maximum for the ecu, without buying a standalone or piggyback. Now it's in the phase 2 with the mappable ecu and running so should hopefully pass the 290-300hp barrier with ease now.

Have a lot of parts to put on it including a hx35 holset, but am now looking for a tdo4 19t to go with 1st, with standard internals atm.

Pretty excited this is the 9th t4 I've built and think these engines are indestructible and have always pushed the boundaries for these standard engines (blown a few along the way).

Any one got parts etc for the build please let me know! Hoses, shocks and springs needed, and a dog guard lol

Are you doing these ecu's for other folk with a T4 ??

The thing is it has to be in a phase 2 car with a phase 2 ecu, as this one is mappable, unlike the phase 1 and 1.5, I had to get the all the sensors existing to fit to a older engine, not too bad. I'm pretty sure these ecu' won't fit to the older models and I'm sure the phase 2 had over 1000 electrical improvements over the later models. When it comes to me and my friend mapping it I will see how many sensors etc we can cancel, or modify so might be possible. Firstly I have to try on mine and see the outcome, unless anyone else has tried this and are ahead of me?

Have put the phase 2 vvt head on the phase one block or just the complete engine

I've put the complete engine the B4194T2 in a phase 2 v40 t4!?! I wouldn't waste my time with the vvt head its poo!

I have that engine in my T reg T4, so what would need doing to it to fit the phase 2 ecu ??? ? At present giving 200whp

I would say it's probably impossible to get that ecu to fit that car, only works the way I've done it, the phase 2 has too many improvements over the phase 1 and 1.5.

Why do I feel myself repeating this for ever....please read the previous posts....
