Hi guys
I have a 02 s60 t5 with I believe vvt on one cam.
Following another of my posts on poor compression I want to remove the cylinder head to see what it looks like inside. Of course this means splitting the cylinder head so the cams are loose and I am a little concerned about the VVT aspects.
Bit of a silly question perhaps but if I'm not going to remove the VVT system from the camshaft can I just literally remove the timing belt and lift the whole system out as one and then on reassembly lay it all back in the cylinder head so the timing marks line up without any further adjustments or will I have to set up the VVT as well anyway separately?
Thanks in advance
