    Unhappy Bracket left over after after clutch change.

    I just finished putting me clutch back together but have forgoten where this bracket goes(took car apart in August).
    Any one got a photo of where it goes?
    Car is an ex plod 2002 Volvo XC70 2.4T,
    any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Its the top part of the steering gear crash protection, sits vertically over the top of the steering rack. Bolts to another part that goes under the rack to create a heavy duty box that does something during a crash I suppose.

    Here's mine on my 850 (slightly different, but I guess pretty much the same principle)



    And kudos for attempting a clutch change on an AWD Volvo!

    Thx for the help, I sussed that it fitted to the bracket under the steering rack but could not see where the other bolt went, will put 2nd bolt in over the xmas.
