    Sat nav fun

My new to me s60 pretty much has all the toys except sat nav, so thought I'd try and fit my tomtom in, I hate them stuck to the screen so I got hold of the standard rti screen and bits, (all this has been done by others but thought I'd have a crack), so far I can get the motor to work manually so I need to work out the wiring and tidy the edges, sat nav turns on and off via power so just need to sort the motor then I'm there, pics:

    Got the electrics working

Got it all in and working, just waiting for a switch, all in under £100 including the TomTom

Nice little project, bet your really pleased.

I know the Volvo RTi is really not worth it but I love the gimmick of the nav rising out of the dash.
Arguing is pointless....she may not be right but she's never wrong

Tell her a remap is just having your satnav updated.....

Exactly, although as its running a new tomtom it works really well, much nicer than a sat nav stuck to the screen and hasn't really cost much at all. Need to get the 850 sorted now
