    over boost code

I keep getting an over boost code from time to time , and when it does it goes into no boost mode. This seems to have started when I had brand new turbo fitted. First thought's was TCV but I've now replaced that with ipd TCV and still getting the error. If I reset ecu it behaves it's self for a week or so then back comes the over boost code, any one got any ideas? My next thought was map sensor. car isn't showing any warning lights on dash.

I believe there are 2 of them, one is under the inlet, they called a one way valve for a reason mate, should only let the air one way. Also check all the vacuum pipes carefully, sometimes the is a hole under a pipe.

One valve under inlet manifold, the other is on the right side of the engine (viewed from the front) in the collection of tubing. It's difficult to get to without removing the air box and associated induction tubing. Don't bother checking as they can be intermittent. Just buy two new ones from Volvo. They now sell them individually.
When I replaced mine, I gained 2 psi.

True, they can be intermittent. The Volvo ones were near 20 quid each so I bought 2 from Merc dealer for less than that.Someone had a part number on here.

Might be worth replacing the boost pressure sensor on the intercooler outlet too.
