    cam pullys

    Hi there folks,

i just sent all my engine covers away to get carbon dipped exposing cam pullys etc. i just notice that the puly (inlet cam) has slight side to side movement and i can move my timing belt by hand. is this normal or do i have a catastropihc failure waiting to happen?

    Cheers Craig

I've answered you on fb, but I'm thinking maybe if the tensioner wasn't tight enough that could allow the movement you describe.

Don't know for sure though, as already said mine didn't seem to be the same.
