water methonal injection

well sorted out a few issues and the beastie is pulling great now thinking about water methonal injection and wundered if anyone has any experience

Pm'd you but I'll reply here too. On the tdi it isn't any use unless you go over 200bhp as temps simply aren't an issue. Meth obviously has no effect on the diesel engine so no power is to be gained. The intercooler is very efficient really, I monitored temps with the standard unit and didn't really go anymore than 40 degrees above ambient.

I should say it not going to hurt anything by having it but your not going to gain anything. Using just water, which is what I plan to do soon, you will drop temps down but you have to be careful not to go to far on a derv as it needs a certain degree of extra heat to get a full burn.

great advice ive pmd you but i still like the sound of a decat pipe as the turbo whistle on my sons sounds wicked but still cant find one thought about slicing open mine rip out the cones and tig weld it back together
