make sure you get the right fluid in it. I believe it's jws3309 standard that you need

Local indy is doing the gearbox flush for me, they said they could do it for £100 so sod it, they can have at it. It's going in on Friday to get that done and the Aux belt and tensioner. There's a few other minor problems (Drivers Front ABS fault) but nothing critical. I'll wait and see what the flush does for the gearbox as it's barely driveable at the minute (fine while on the move but selecting/deselecting first gear is very clunky and it takes a few seconds).

They checked it today and its definitley a sticking valve problem so either the flush works or I think they're talking about a new Valve body which I imagine will not be remotely cheap.

You can say that again... you don't know the half of it bud, ££££s only gotten worse lately by maybe a factor of ten.
