    TCV replacement

I've had my Ex plod 5 years now and never replaced TCV, having looked through the history that came with it I cant see any evidence of it being changed in past.

Based on this I think its time for a new one to go with the Brand new K24 turbo I have just had fitted, I was looking at IPD TCV but thought I would check with you guys as to whether you would recommend this or just a standard replacement from Volvo.

    Thanks in advance Paul

I was recommended to just go with a new stock one when I replaced mine as the IPD ones can be a bit finickey and need to be set up correctly.

I have an early ipd one (the ones that are supposed to be twitchy) and it's been fine for about 3 years so far. It was 2nd hand when I got it too.

The Volvo ones are supposed to be fine regardless of your state of tune tho so it's up to you really.
