Turning off service light & other service questions - 850 with OBDII

These are the code reader & service reset tools I have. Top one is just service reset, bottom one is pre obd2 reader & service reset.

Mine has just ticked over a year since it's last service and hence the annoying orange service light currently shows up for the first couple of minutes of every journey.

Due to a fairly good year of ownership with continuous maintenance over the year, I just need to perform a general check over, plus an oil change and filter (138k miles and last service was 135k miles at main dealer). This gives the following questions that I hope someone here can answer:

- What's the preferred oil type & filter, and where to get them?
- How do I turn out the Service Light? My ELM327 connection to the M4.4 ECU via Android doesn't seem to cover this?
- Anyone got the tool to turn out the service light near Sudbury, Suffolk?
- Any other things I should be careful of with a simple oil & filter change? I will change sump-plug washer.
