    Engine code help

Hi all, I am changing the piston rings on the car and just want to check something, my engine code is B5234T but keep finding things for either B5234FT or B5234T2 and not sure which is right and whats the difference?

    Cheers

as far as i'm aware, they only changed the piston design when they changed to shorter-skirt/longer con-rod which was around 2002. If yours & the other engine are both pre that then i suspect they'll be the same
