Lower suspension arm steering limiter.

I ordered two, but they came without the pop rivets, so has anyone replaced these if so what size rivets and type did you use?
The holes in the lugs are 4.5mm diameter so it's the length I'm after knowing.

Or did you use an alternative fixing?

I just use any nuts and bolts that will fit with no issues. Have you got the blue lock stops?

My p1 V and p1 C are the same.

Edit c70 2003 looks like rivets the suspension arm is quite different too ... The stops are those big blue wedge shaped ones

Yeah, standard on P80 cars they are riveted.
Don't have a clue about P2s etc!

So it seems , the c70 is 2003 but is P1 . Whilst my 70 is 2002 and P2

It's a P80, this is a P1 C70

Its confusing to a mere whale, the v70 2002 is a p 2 and the C70 is aP80 ? So the later c70's are P1 ?
My c70 seems to be based on the 850 , whilst my V70 is an upgrade on the first generation V70 . To be honest I hardly even lift the bonnet on the C 70 it does tiny mileages , mostly mrs Orca drives it. Whereas the V70 does massive mileages, and I have been elbow deep in it many times,.. Enough times to know I would rather have had an 850.

foammanmark, Yes I obtained them from Parts Monster, Volvo genuine spare parts No. 8614258 and they arrived today. From their photo the stops are secured with hex headed bolts; in the Volvo pics their secured with rivets. Alloy rivets into steel corrosion will occur, hence my question regarding type, nickel/steel would be better; my thoughts were to keep with OEM spec, however, marine quality stainless steel bolts and lock-nuts would be more ideal.

It's a losing battle as everyone calls the first V70 a P1 when infact the P1 chassis didn't come out until 2004!

I just sit in the corner and rock myself slowly insane while this huge miss use of Volvo chassis names goes on

No.

Your V70 is on the P2 platform, same as the S60, a completely different animal to the P80s.

Only one Phase of S70R unlike the P80 V70R where the were 3 specs over the years.

Orca, everyone is lost. It's Ford's fault! P2 is the P80 replacement and P1 is something completely different.

As P1 and P2 were out at the same time I'm guessing Ford felt it would be clever. P1 were the smaller cars; S40, V50 etc and P2 the larger; S60, S80 and V70.
