    weird one forge dumper

    wen i got my s70 t5 it had the standard dumper still fitted plus a forge dumper aswell so i got a blankin plate off fleebay to remove the standard one and just keep the forge on wen i bought the car on my trip home i couldnt here the forge at all and its still the same with the standard removed still really quite but yet if i rev it it blows off louder than wen im driving like nite and day im puzzled like only been out incar couple times just to wee trip to garage get work done and never booted it really as was in town

    Most likely the spring in the dv is too weak and letting pressure past while on boost

    Could it be that the spring is too hard, needing a strong vacuum to let it open?

    you'll need a softer forge spring

    If it helps i had a Yellow Spring in mine......`97 V70 T5

    Held 20psi easy on 16T and then 18T


    Mercedes C320CDI Sport Estate 3 litre V6 7 Gear Auto
    Remap 290bhp 628Nm torque @ 1600revs 45.1mpg

    i got that kit included, just didn't know the colour/psi rating. I'm only starting on the 15g so might try a shim'd green to start with

    I'm running the red spring on 25ish psi and is fine, more chatter less air loss

    ill buy yellow then see what like tbh mite just remove it not keen on dump valves
