    2005 v70r roof rails

roof rails or no roof rails, what are peoples thoughts on this. i assume if you remove them you need to get a new cover strip where the gaps were cut out for the rails?

    cheers.

I love my V70 with the roof rails.

Yes, if you remove them you'll need a new cover strip and maybe some clips.

Rails all the way! Very useful when washing the car, gives you something to hold onto and rub the panels better with the other hand!
The trim supplied from Volvo is massively expensive thou. Last time i checked it was getting on for £300 all in. Clips are cheap.

Yeah, I'd stick with rails too, if you ever roll it, you won't scratch the roof.
