Door lock issue

Morning,

Recently my V70 has stopped letting me open the drivers door from inside the car.
I haven't had the door apart to look yet, but there is definitely movement at the lock end of the door, suggesting that the deadlock is operating on the door and not letting me open it.

The door works fine on the remote and from outside. Just as well really as I have to put the window down to get out.

Any ideas?

Probably just the release cable popped out.

Ok, worth taking the door card off then.
I wasn't sure if it was going to be some software issue, that seems to be the norm for these cars...
