Seriously Confused - Cat Back - 850R Auto

Getting a whole load of work done on my car this Weds.

Getting a new Exhaust, but still can't decide if I want a Genuine Replacement, or a cat back from a reputable co.

I don't want it to drone, and don't want it to be loud. De-restictive and power gains would be good.

Who has done this? What Exhaust have you fitted, how does it sound? (pretty subjective I know) and What Quantifiable Power gains have you had?

Sorry for the stern message lol, I'm just really confused!!

    Thanks,

    Rohit

BSR, Jettex, Miltek and Ferrita are all very good off the shelf options that are quiet at cruising speed but sound brill on full chat.
Arguing is pointless....she may not be right but she's never wrong

Tell her a remap is just having your satnav updated.....

As above, we have Ferritas one both the S60R, and C70, both sound great, especially with downpipes with 200 cell cats.

hi,im running my c70 with a grahem welch 3 inch downpipe with decat mated to a 2.5 inch jetex duplex cat back....lovely burble when pottering along.....sounds awesome on boost and the decat has definately upped the horses by a few...ive read somewhere that a 3 inch decat can add around 15 bhp.....certainly feels like it

Speak to Don at kalmar union about the ferrita exhaust systems. Will be a cracking price as well no doubt.
