    No ABS ???

    Hi all,
had to break hard the other day, and the car locked up- no ABS!
Did a bit investigating and the warning light on the dash (top row far right) doesn't come on either.
The ECU for the abs is present, and all fuses are ok???
    Any idea's?

There must be a fault In the system and either some one has removed the bulb or is dead best thing is get the codes read but normally it's the abs ecu that needs re soldering

Some kind past owner had taken the warning bulb out. Replaced with new, and now showing an ABS fault. Fault code reader tomorrow, but your predictions are probably right!
    I'll keep you posted!

Sent my old ABS ECU off last week for repair. An E-bay online service by Robfittall. £70 quid or so to repair your unit. Fitted and now running with no faults flagging up. Pleased service!
