Suspension's not too bad actually, the car's only done 54k though.
Feels much tighter than Ray the 460T, but that's prob done twice the mileage, no one will ever know though, god knows how long the speedo hasn't worked for over it's life!

Was a little wallowy on the standard wheels, but these wheels with a 35 series tyre should sort that out... Then ruin the struts!

I'd forgotten about the high-sided tyres..haven't driven one for a while!! The low profile ones will help a bit

So, as Louise has decided that she only wants an auto, and as her old 460 is an auto, I'm swapping the gearboxes over.

Today, me and my bezzy mate started to pull the auto 'box out of the old 460T on my drive.

    Then some swearing happened.

Then we decided that it would be a much better idea to have the two cars side by side, rather than 15-20 miles apart (this one's at Tomcat's in Wigan) so thought we'd go and get it.

Got there and tried to tax it online, but it's now stuck in the absolute horse££££ system, so left without it.

    Some more swearing happened.

    The end.

    I'd have chanced it

Far does though, real sign of love of peace to do the unthinkable and convert a motor TO an auto for the missus.

Does this mean Ray the Turbo will become a manual?

    Yes it will

And as for love and peace, it was wearing VERY thin yesterday!

    Cheers for the offer Fella.

It'll have to wait for the time being either way.
I wanted to tax it online so I could do the monthly DD thing, I could tax it at a post office, but they don't offer it and as I'm brassic at the moment, it'll have to wait.

I was just trying to do "free" stuff on the car for the time being, if you know what I mean?

The new tax system pisses me off.
I had the same with the S70, that got stuck in the system for months.
You can't even speak to anyone at the DVLA if you phone, just automated bull5h1t.
What, 18 months in? And the system is still in Beta (as-in testing) and is STILL not ready or fit for purpose, with no way around it.
Don't you just love government agencies?!

Let me know how much you'd want to shift it from Craig's to south Manchester, Northern Moor to be precise.

Tbf though, it would be cheaper to tax it.
I'll have some money in a couple of weeks, so it's nay bother.
