Double Din Head Unit change

Thinking of changing the head unit in my 850r and was wondering if anyone had fitted one of the cheap £100-150 gps units on ebay? I know you get what you pay for but was thinking 20 years of technology might sound a bit better than the standard unit. What problems is there fitting another H/U. Did the 850r have Dynaudio or was that just the V70's?
