    Wheels

On my V50 I have 2 bent rims. I've got 17" Zurak wheels which are proving hard to come by. So.... I'm thinking of looking at alternatives. Here's my car

And these are the wheels I'm thinking of fitting

So, do you think it'll look great on my motor and do you think they'll fit?

Get someone to photoshop them onto the car , where is Liberate when you need him ?

They look like nice wheels mate , the Rashermobile will suit them.

Any wheel that has a clear coat Finish on alu will start to corrode from the edge in , just a thought.

What is the width and offset of the wheels you have your eyes on, you need to compare to your current wheels so you'll know how set into the arches the wheels are

If I've got this right, the tyre size is the same but my current offset is 45mm the 17" Ixiom rims are 50mm. I'm still trying to nail down the stud spacing and stud size

The stud pattern will be the same, 5x108.
So with that difference in offset the wheels will be set into the arches 5mm more than your existing wheels (assuming they are the same width).

Harvey made a good point about clear lacquered alloys, they can be a beehatch to keep, the slightest pin£££££ leads to the dreaded " alloy worm tracks " creeping across the surface.

Even if they didn't you could make them fit
Worst case scenario is you'll need 5mm spacers but I highly doubt they'll be necessary!

Judging by the picture of the V50 above its not going to be a problem. The tyre size matches, I had a shufty at a V40 while I was at the dealers today. I'm confident

But.... If a set of Zurak's come up then I'll stick to the original spec

Ixion is the name and by far the best looking Volvo wheel imo. They'd look superb on your car mate.
