    Bit of chicken wire and some dry wall adhesive will do the trick in fact bugger the chicken wire some scrim tape will do just fine

    The rate it rusts my trowels if I don't clean them, they'll be worse than they were to start with!

    I think some of the brake pipe brackets have a little surface corrosion but I don't call that rust.
