    Additional Extras?

    I have a 2001 V70 XC

I am not sure of my exact trim level (or the details of any trim levels) but there are several blanked switches infront of the gear stick (just below the climate control pannel)

I am asking if anyone knows what added extras these blanker plates are for (if any)

    Thanks guys

There are all sorts of switches that can go in there, depending on what market the car's being sold in. In our S60R, we have switches for folding mirrors, naughty kid rear head rests (they drop down when you press the button), alarm internal sensor off, and DTSC (traction/stability control)

As long as you're aware that it isn't just a case of fitting a button...

There's a lot of software modifications required, normally at great cost at a local dealer.
