    Been out in the gul tonight first time in months ide been saying the s70 was so nice to drive but ide forgot how good the 850's are and there is no competition the 850 every time the wa they deliver the power is far superior

    What's makes the cars so different as they are essentially the same car underneath except a few little bits in standard form.

    For me personally the s70 r is perfect as a daily much more pleasing place to be sat in and it's power delivery is so smooth there a little like the p2's where you don't actually feel the power where as the 850's are a much more rough and ready car for having fun the map on the 850 is very progressive and constantly keeps building boost all the way to red line but the kick you get is just night and day weather that down to 4.3 vs 4.4 I don't know

    Ah okay so we are talking modified cars then.

    I'm sure standard and fresh out the factory they are probably no different. I find the poly upper mount completely transforms the "rawness".

    TBH there are masses of difference between the two that was changed from new.
    Also the 850 runs a standard top mount and the S70r has a poly top mount.

    As much as I like a silver x70, the T5R would be my pick of the bunch.

    Me too but just seen the mrs out driving the S70r and it does look amazing on the road
