So finally got round to a few little jobs the other day, sorted a binding caliper and fitted a new lower IC hose, previous hose was bodged together a bit after a failure of the standard hose with what I had in the garage. New item is much better, far less joins. Should (I hope) prevent blow off on WOT.

Also picked up a set of wheels today thanks to a couple of gents on the forum to go on the D5

These on the D5 means I can put the pegs on the 850 and begin to fit a big brake conversion as below. I have the caliper carriers, lines are being made up and uses Volvo S60R discs. Should be an improvement over the 280's its running now!

All I need to do now is work to pay for it all!

That new pipe should reduce the risk of further leaks, also simplifies and tidies things up nicely at the same time, looks almost the same as my blackbeast one, are you running a DV or just blanked the other spigot..??

No dump valve justt blanked, can't stand them.

just ordered the pipe to re-circ mine back into the intake, should cut the noise down and keep the wizzzy thingy spinning nicely at the same time..

Tis my design lower rip, certainly holds on well enough lol.
I got my fabricator friend to knock up 5 for me, I may have one full kit left, I had him blob some weld spots on the icv and openings to grip the hoses.

nice steve, but tbf the blackbeast items are almost identical and amazing quality, just a pity I had the last one, alloy with all flanges fully flared bargain I think

I had a black beast one, but the issues I had were 2.5 90 degree was too short and longer ones didn't seem to have much inside the hose and I didn't like the position of the DV and the intake pipe to the airbox was slightly obscured.

So just made my own in the end
