Cheers TC. Yep sure has tested my patience over the last few days, I wreckon all in close to 40 hours spent since saturday and its time off I had planned for other things but ho hum! Needs must and it had to be done pre Sunday for the dyno as I really didnt like the idea of running the D5.

Everything aside, having not driven it for a while or at least "quickly" it sure as hell put a smile on my face today. Makes it all worthwhile

Couple of shots from earlier on one of the many test runs. All thats left is to polish her up.

    Bahahahahahaha!!!!

    Sorry, my bad.

You haven't been observing the VPC code of good parking practice, and have only used one space.
As a result, with a quick glance I thought you were parked on a yellow box.

Yes mate all sorted and what a bugger too, everything seized, I think ill be looking to replace the setup later in the year anyhow.

Today well final proving and it all seems OK now thank goodness.

Took it for a final spin, got back washed and polished (quickly it was chuffing cold!) and parked until Sunday.

Dug out the old HLM dyno from previous ownership and poor running, any improvement will be a bonus

Also found best 1/4 mile slip from last year, this years target to beat!

To be fair money is a little tight presently and given I have to attend as much as possible as its your last year, next year will be the off the road overhaul.

Let the man above have first refusal.

7k shocks and springs did someone say? If they'll fit an 850 T5 and they are a potential bargain then drop me a PM price too

Mine is on original 20 year old shocks/springs with 139k miles, could be time for a refresh...

Oooh it was down on power then, The Gul was in limp mode on the rollers and did a bit better than that, you should be able to trim a bit off that 1/4 time this year

Well apart from a niggle as always with volvos but swiftly resolved with a bolt the cars pretty healthy. Blitz showed peak boost on dyno at 1.1 bar
